Description

The Ravas iForks-32 is the world’s most successful wireless weighing fork system, designed to turn any forklift truck into a highly accurate mobile scale in less than five minutes. By replacing your standard forks with the iForks-32, you can weigh every load during transport, eliminating the need to drive back and forth to a fixed floor scale. This product is especially designed to be as close to plug and play as possible, great for companies looking to get going fast and avoid confusing operators.

The primary USP of the iForks-32 is its completely wireless design. There is no cabling between the forks and the indicator in the cabin; communication is handled via Bluetooth, ensuring a clean installation that is perfect for trucks equipped with fork positioners or rotators.

The Next Generation of Forklift Weighing

The iForks-32 has been engineered to look and perform like standard forks while housing advanced weighing technology.

  • Ultra-Slim Profile: With a fork height of just 58mm (and only 52mm on some versions), the iForks-32 is only marginally higher than standard forks, allowing for easy entry into almost any pallet.
  • Compact Li-ion Power: Each fork is powered by its own exchangeable, compact Li-ion battery pack, providing up to 75 hours of continuous use. This “plug & weigh” system ensures your truck is never sidelined by charging cables.
  • Automatic Tilt Compensation: The 3200 indicator automatically corrects weighing errors caused by a tilted mast, ensuring high accuracy even if the operator hasn’t perfectly levelled the forks.
  • Digital Safety Monitoring: The system includes a built-in load warning for tip and side loading. If a load is placed dangerously on the tips of the forks or unevenly to one side, the display turns red to alert the driver.
  • Smart Data Integration: Standard-fit Bluetooth 4.0 connects the forks to the RAVAS WeightsApp, turning your smartphone or tablet into a remote display and data collector for seamless WMS/ERP updates.

Precision and Durability

  • Multirange Graduation: Automatically switches increments for maximum resolution: 1kg up to 1,000kg and 2kg up to the full capacity (on 2,500kg/3,000kg models).
  • Robust Construction: Tested for 1,000,000 cycles at 125% of the rated capacity, these forks are built for the heavy-duty reality of 3PL logistics and industrial manufacturing.
  • Advanced 3200 Indicator: Features a dual-colour (green/red) backlit display, 5-digit ID code entry for tracking orders or articles, and a totalling memory with sequence numbering.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please see below for answers to frequently asked questions.

A calibration certificate proves the accuracy of your weighing equipment. It is very likely that if accuracy matters in your workplace, certification will be required by your industry regulators. They are straightforward to get hold of though. Just ask our team.

If you are trading or transacting anything by weight, you will probably need to demonstrate your weighing equipment is verified for trade use. This gives your customers confidence in your business and will make sure buying and selling run smoothly. We can help get you with relevant approvals for your equipment.

The answer will vary depending on how your equipment is used. As a minimum, we typically recommend once a year but our team can provide advice based on your individual circumstances.

The International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML) has established standards for the classification of calibration test weights. Varying from E0 & E1, which are the most accurate to M2 which are commonly used for calibrating platform scales, floor scales and other industrial weighing instruments.

As a rough guide we have listed desired accuracy against class below.

+/- 0.1% – UNclassed Proof Load Test Weights
+/- 0.05% – M3 (Check/calibrate coarse scales)
+/- 0.005% – M1 (Check/calibrate standard scales)
+/- 0.0015% – F2 (Check/calibrate portable balances)
+/- 0.0005% – F1 (Check/calibrate precision balances)
+/- 0.00015% – E2 (Check/calibrate analytical balances)

The choice of weight class depends on the intended use and the level of accuracy required for a particular application. If you’re unsure, talk to our team who can advise you on the right class for your equipment.

If you’re sending a scale back to us for recalibration, it is ideal to use the original packaging. If this is not available choose a sturdy well-padded box to avoid shocks. Where possible, protect the load sensor by removing the weighing pan and any under-pan support and pack these separately in the box. You may be able to use the equipment’s locking pins or screws too.

Do ensure all the paperwork, including your contact details, is included to ensure we can return it once calibration is complete.
