The Ohaus Explorer Precision Balances are the flagship offering from Ohaus in terms of balances. we have sold many of these balances into Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Laboratory and formulation companies.

The Ohaus Explorer Precision balance is suited to may applications such as Liquid Filling and dosing, SQC, Ingredient costing, percent weighing, formulation, packing and many more.

The Ohaus Explorer Precision Balance range comes with RS232 and USB communication as standard and has an optional Ethernet card. Explorer balances are equipped with several communication interfaces that allow balances to be connected directly to a PC, integrated into a larger system such as LIMS or ERP, or connect to available accessories like printers and barcode scanners.

Using OHAUS’ free Serial Port Data Collection (SPDC) software, data from the balance can be easily captured onto a PC, into text files, directly into Excel, or into databases such as Microsoft Access.

Ohaus Explorer Precision Balances have newly optimized linearity and repeatability specifications and enhanced vibration filtering for better balance stability. All models also come standard with AutoCal™ automatic internal calibration. 3×3 filtering setup ensures fast and stable weighing results. These combined enhancements improve accuracy, efficiency, and throughput. A large colour touch-screen display, icon-driven application software that features 14 unique application modes, and a 3 level adjustable angle display make Ohaus Explorer Precision Balances the easiest to use, most advanced balance in its class today. Explorer has four user-programmable touch free sensors to minimize cross contamination and wear and tear normally associated with repeatedly touching the balance. The Ohaus Explorer Precision Balances EX…M Models have been designed and verified to meet or exceed the Class I and II accuracy requirements in accordance with EC Directives and EN45501.
