Floor Scales

Floor Scales perform a similar in function to bench scales but also encompass a variety of more heavy duty scales like pallet or platform scales. Often with a taller podium or conveniently placed indicators, floor scales are used when the item is just a bit to large or awkward to put on a bench scale or where manual handling is tricky. On production lines, where a bench scale isn't sufficient larger containers are put onto a floor scales for checkweighing. Some applications are in food processing, warehousing, logistics and farming but any production line could benefit.
